I went in there on a saturday night with my friends to watch the football game, the staff there are very friendly and polite and I would happily go there again for a drink or two.

Paid 72 for a room with 2 x bunk beds in it because it was the only accommodation we could find. Had to close the window as there was a noise from a generator or something keeping us awake. Clean enough, but very tired decor inside and out. Concerned over safety as we were unable to open the door nearest to our room that was marked as the route to reception. We tried many times. Unable to park our car on arrival as there were only about 6 spaces, one of which was coned off for disabled use. Reception staff told us to park at Asda, nearby, but despite asking Asda staff, you cannot park there for more than 90 minutes. Central to the town but I wouldn't go there again.
Standard pub, good for sports lovers. Did not try the food, but you can have some. Would expect more choice of draught cider. Some staff are smiley and helpful.
We came here for some food whilst on holiday, we waited an hour for food to be told we hadn't ordered anything because they checked the wrong table. We then went to ask again where our order was to be told we need to wait another 10 minutes, no apology or anything and as we walked away from the bar the staff member shouted \Why does everyone have to be so rude\. We were polite and just wanted to know where our food was. The other 2 tables next to us had also been waiting for over an hour for food. Avoid this place if you want your food on time.
Bertie O'Flannigan's is an \Irish Pub\ in central Newquay (in between bus stops Post Office and Great Western Hotel, but closer to the former). It's a nice pub, with a friendly atmosphere and a comfy, discreet outer seating area to the front (a bit removed from the street) - only, it's not much of an IRISH pub. You can get Guinness - Duh! - but that's about it. When I asked for Kilkenny at the bar - it drew a blank. All the other beers here are English! That's very peculiar for a place that calls itself an \Irish Pub\ - and in very big letters on the front! So, while the pub itself is plesant, quite stylish and very comfy with its darkened interior, lovers of Irish beer will be gravely disappointed. Some Irish spirits however are available. Staff were nice and polite.
