Amazing food, massive portions, brilliant service and fantastic for the kids with the play barn. We all had a carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it. Went to get our desserts where there was limited options, then to be told to wait to see what was in the back. Upon return with 2 humongous cakes. Expecting a tiny slither we were pleasantly surprised to be handed a slab which we were struggling to finish. Will definitely be returning even just for the kids to play and us to eat cake.

We dined here twice during our stay in September 2020, very good staff and really nice to meet. The food was excellent to say the least, my wife had chicken and really enjoyed it I had the chicken & gammon casserole, plenty on the plate and an excellent choice. It's on the list to visit again when we're down next.

A nice pub, with lovely food and reasonably priced. However, the menu was double printed, so not really readable plus the service was extremely slow... We managed to finish a game of pool (and we're not pros by any stretch of imagination) before our drinks even arrived and the food, cutlery, desserts, bill etc were all a test of patience. It's a big place and management should really hire more staff so it can function well.

We booked for 7 at Quintrell Inn well in advance after being given the all clear to holiday. Our family has been going to Newquay for 30 years . Food at the Inn was nice but had to wait a while etc... it was busy but no where near running to capacity. We ordered our afters via the correct channels but waited an hour for it after the staff had unravelled their twisted knickers. It6 wasn't a patch on food we received on earlier visits it wasn't a carvery

From table 23 on 30th of September at 7pm Staff where amazing and food was fantastic, portion sizes for there prizes where brilliant. when an issue accered with my steak it was taken away and completely cooked from fresh and the scound steak was so good that I pretty much inhaled it lol. Our Waitress Mrs H was fantastic and even though she was wearing her masks she gave us the impression she was smiling. All members of staff were kind and friendly and also helpful. All our food was so good. The deep fried cod: batter was to die for. The slow cooked BBQ ribs: fell off the bone. 8oc Steak (the 2nd one) was the same depth all the way round and cooked to my standards of medium rare and it was perfect. The kids pizza was made from fresh. Would highly recommend to locals and holiday makers alike.
