Great views of Newry and the Mournes in the distance. The clouds made the view all the more striking when I visited. Good space for parking, though some tend to take the forwardmost three spots to sit in their cars and look out at the view. There's a picnic table area immediately adjacent to the car park and Ballymacdermott Tomb is only a ten minute walk away. Will be visiting again for sure.

Nice stop off on the way up to Belfast from Dublin. 4 minutes from the motorway and beautiful views. There are a couple of stone picnic tables perfect for a midway picnic and space for 15-20 cars.
Beautiful spot. Unfortunately it was windy and cold when I visited but superb views.
Lovely Place to stop off on the road from Derry to Dublin. Lovely little path, good picnic spots and BREATHTAKING views. Best place to rest, see it for yourself!
Always driving by the turnoff to this lookout so finally decided to drive up and have a look. Managed to choose a beautiful winter morning after the big freeze and there were still icicles around the place. The road up is narrow, windy and not the best so if you like driving on wide well kept roads this may not be for you, especially don’t go the back way ;) The views are lovely on a crisp day but that’s all you see. The place is a bit of a dump with rubbish all over the place so I’d avoid coming here after dark!
