Fantastic place for families, couples, singles, Little gem we chanced across with the cafés nearby function. We had been walking in ravensdale Park area and were peckish. Plenty of parking, excellently well kept facilities. Massive play area, wooded walks, scenic drives. The menu had plenty of variety and was well priced. We were mightily impressed with their double burgers! And the fries are proper potato chips!! It was rather full but it was a Bank Holiday Monday, and there's an abundance of benches out in the court yard. Would highly recommend.

Great food, even if it seems pricey. The sausage rolls and wraps are fantastic. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Nice food. Plenty to choose from. Salads are great. Good coffee. It gets busy inside and there's not much room so be prepared to eat on one of the many benches outside

"To delight each and every customer that walks through our doors by the quality of what's on offer and the warmth of our welcome- Damien Garvey founder of Synge&Byrne" (Synge&Byrne website) There was no warmth in my welcome at the Slieve Gullion branch when I arrived at 3.45pm yesterday to be met by a member of staff emphatically telling me "take away only take away only!" Ok, it's 15 minutes to closing, that's fine. We'd just walked 13 miles in cold and rain on the Ring of Gullion Way and a take away coffee was just what we were after. After getting our coffees, the same lady then came and harassed me for having the audacity to wait at a table as my wife used the toilet. "I told you take away only!" she moaned at me. I had to then justify the obvious that we were customers and my wife needed to use the toilet. Embarrassing in front of other seated customers nearby. Anyway, we left as soon as possible (which, incidentally, was still 5 minutes before your advertised closing time). Obviously your staff are much more concerned about finishing and leaving work at 4pm than giving your customers a warm welcome during opening hours. Based on this experience, we won't be back.
