Stayed in \the kiln\ for a few nights last week with my wife, our daughter and her cousin. The whole set up was immaculate, clean and tidy. Jenny met us on arrival and explained everything, gave details of local eateries and made us feel so welcome. Accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable and with secure and super grounds for the girls to play in a safe environment. Lovely walks around a small river with a chance to feed the pet goats. Bo, Luke and Rosco ..Mark and Jenny must have enjoyed a certain 70s TV programme! Thanks again and hope to be back. Brian.

Beautiful wee hidden gem in the outskirts of Kilkeel, County Down. Recently attended a Fairy themed birthday party here and got the chance to look around all the different cottages and the beautiful walk there is around the river. Outdoor pizza ovens and BBQ areas, enclosed grassed area for young families to enjoy in a safe surrounding. Cottages are very well finished and the perfect size for a short break in the m Mournes. This is a very quiet and relaxing place to come and chill out away from the hustle bustle of town or city life

We had an amazing stay at The Green over Christmas. The Byre was beautifully decorated (including a reindeer crafted by Mark!) and it was warm and very welcoming with a jar of homemade shortbread waiting for us. Comfy beds meant we were well rested for the festivities and many a game of pooh sticks was played on the bridge down on the river. The walk by the river is lovely and I wish I could have spent more time just taking in the beauty I couldn’t recommend The Green more - it is the perfect spot for families. Jenny and Mark were the ultimate hosts and have thought of everything.

I just spent the weekend in the Wee Home at the Green Cottages with a group of friends and we absolutely loved our stay. It is in such a beautiful, tranquil location with spectacular views of the Mourne Mountains and the cottage had everything we needed. It was a very relaxing weekend in a little haven. This is our second visit and we hope to be back again soon.
