Undoubtedly the worst bank in Newry. Queued for 35 minutes and did not receive a “hello” from the teller, never mind a “sorry about the wait”. Poorly managed and certainly not up to IRISH Ulster Bank standards.
Long queues outside while only 2 customers inside a large bank building is just ridiculous. I know it's supposidly because of covid but the management need to employ some common sense. their staff are already behind a glass partition and at no risk. this is just another effort by Ulster bak to drive their long standing customers away. Very disappointed. The staff are lovely and it's not their fault but management need a shake up
Horrible service. Teller could not give me statement ,directed to another queue, had to leave bank after a 20min wait, came back 30min later and apart from tellers no one was on duty. Walked across road opened a new account with Nationwide and at present changing over direct debits. Ironically the bank doesn’t care. No wonder branches are closing.
