Argos Newton Abbott is the friendliest and most helpful Argos and actually store in general that I’ve ever been in. I took back an internet thing and I got the wrong product and wanted another one which they didn’t have and the lady there bent over backwards to help me find another store, reserved it for me and gave me the postcode and her colleagues were also really helpful and friendly. I was really impressed with the service as I rarely see customer service as good as this!

Usually a quiet store in town with on street parking (pay & display) usually enough staff around who are generally helpful. Just one issue is if you reserve an item online & go to collect in store and pay they do not appear to honour the reservation price of an item if the price increases overnight on the system. It doesn't advise you on the system in store when you go to pay, of the price change. Just one to watch when reserving then going instore to pay and collect.
Really modern store with there New brouse and pay tills fantastic range of goods at competive prices
Always really quiet inside, so it's fast service and with hardly any waiting times. Parking is very hard in the area though, especially if it's near 3pm as the nearby school parents use the delivery bays outside the store.
Explain this. Only two people waiting at the counter, only two items on the collection shelf. Customer service advisor picks up the other customers item and gives it to him Looks at me turns her back and walks off. I have to call her back and tell her that the other item was mine before she then returned and gave me my item. I was not impressed by her attitude. If I could give it a zero score, I would. Maybe if I looked like a local, I would have been treated differently
Great staff seasonal staff extremely helpful and got be what I wanted she should be full time definitely a credit to the store
I recently picked up and paid for an item I had on reservation. My shopping experience was first rate. The cashier was serving someone else when I arrived in the queue and minutes later another cashier opened and called me over to serve. Once I paid for my item I recalled I had a voucher which I meant to use and the cashier reversed the transaction and then resold it to me taking the voucher. This was done with no hesitation and with smiles throughout. I collected my item and again I was met with smiles and a bit of friendly banter too. These places are too easily filled with staff who don't care about customer service, they just want to get to the end of their shift... but this was not my experience on this occasion. A* to argos!
Seems to be a run down Argos. Spartan lay out. Could not find what I wanted in the catalogue although I saw it online. Resorted to my phone to get the code so I could purchase it. The code system wasn't working so couldn't check stock levels.
