Excellent - Couldn’t recommend Dunn & Baker more. Sarah Finn has just completed on my first house purchase which turned out to be quite a tricky transaction. Sarah was fantastic. She couldn’t have been more helpful, supportive and efficient

Not happy at all with these solicitors. Used them in 2016 for a sale and purchase, on the day of exchange they invoiced us, and I transferred the money that day. Around 4 months later, we got a letter from them saying they forgot to charge the VAT on their fees and we must pay 280, on checking the invoice, it clearly stated \Dunn and Baker fees (including VAT) - X amount\. I assumed they were just trying there luck, so left the first letter, didn't hear anything for a couple of months, but then the letters started coming thick and fast, we responded via email to an address on the letter, explaining why we were not happy paying it, which was ignored, we just got another letter threatening us with legal action instead. I phoned the number on the letter, not getting very far, the gentleman just said he would get the case looked into and we'll get another letter explaining the outcome. All we got was a cryptic letter saying they had made an admin error back in December 16 and we had to pay. We've now been threatened with court action. My main problem with all of this is how impersonal it all is, the reality is, one phone call when they discovered the error, explaining and apologising, would of sorted this so much quicker, instead of just bombarding us with letters, making us feel like it's all our fault!
