Really good food at excellent prices, an imaginative menu, a great environment, and informal, friendly yet professional service. It also feels good to be able to enjoy all this while supporting a local enterprise that's benefiting young people who are about to embark on their careers in catering. However... Communication is dreadful. The place was closed for a spell in the summer, presumably because of the college holiday - but who knows? There was no notice on the door to say when (or even if) it would re-open. Wanting to go today with a friend I made numerous attempts to call to check it would be open for lunch, but the phone just rang out - there was no voicemail or announcement. I visited in person and, again, found it closed. This time there was a notice of sorts indicating they were busy setting something up in Totnes, and suggesting they might be in business again at some unspecified future date. This is exactly how to squander the goodwill that has been built up, and it doesn't augur well for the new enterprise. It doesn't matter how good how good your food and service offering is - if you hack off your customers, they won't remain your customers for much longer.

A hidden gem in Newton Abbot. Market Street's menu changes every week and it's always interesting and full of flavour. Hands down the best place to eat in town.
Good fish and chips home delivery(10 min spend)
So delighted to have found this place. Interesting and delicious food at very reasonable prices. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Some dishes are vegetarian including some vegan.
