So impressed!! We decided to treat ourselves to a Chinese, completely not realising that it was a Friday night, and Chinese New year and so it would be super busy. We called our usual takeaway and couldn't get through for over half an hour, and when we did couldn't pay on card as we usually do (about the third time recently that they have said cash only, while I thought we were still preferred to avoid cash during the pandemic!). So I remembered we had a royal china menu popped through our door a few weeks back, and we decided to try them instead, prices were similar so actually worked out a quid or so cheaper, but we paid 2.50 for delivery. We were able to pay on the phone, and got told it will be an hour and a half.... A long wait, but expected based on the day, and they said an hour and a half... And that's exactly what it was... Totally worth the wait and delivery charge, and they have now gained a new regular customer! Every item we ordered was perfect, and both me and my partner went back to the kitchen for more! Very impressive considering how busy they would have been too! Thanks royal china!

A bit expensive but the best Chinese in Newton Abbot. Singapore noodles are especially good.

Had a lovely meal here. The staff were friendly and very helpful with choosing gluten free options. The restaurant was clean and cosy. Food was excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit.
