I asked Carvers to act on the sale of my Mother’s house. David Tinkler from the Newton Aycliffe office was our contact and I was impressed with his professionalism and that he kept me informed all through the process. The reasons we chose Carvers was David’s honest approach to the value and saleability of the property and that he had customers in his books which he would actively contact to encourage viewings. This approach proved fruitful as the property achieved full asking price from the third set of viewers without even being advertised The sale has recently completed and David kept me informed throughout, with regular updates on progress and was just a call or email away if I had anything to raise. You may pay more for this type of service versus an online agent, but for us it was complete value for money Thank you David for making an experience I was dreading run smoothly

Having decided to put our house on the market, we contacted Carvers’ Newton Aycliffe Office. David Tinkler attended our home promptly, with Covid protocols, he gave us a valuation and talked us through the process. He also informed us that he had someone in mind who may be interested in our property. Arrangements were made for photographs and marketing our property. Before it was publicly marketed we had a viewing by the interested parties, followed by a second viewing which resulted in an offer which we accepted. Our property was subsequently put online, but marked sold stc, this caused a slight worry for our buyers as they thought the property remained on the market, their minds were quickly put at rest that this was not the case. From thereon the sale was handed to Carvers’ sale progression team who liased with solicitors from all sides to move the whole process along. We were kept informed throughout and were able to contact them easily. All in all a good experience, we wish the same could be said of conveyancing solicitors, but that’s another story.
