Very rude elderly lady who is extremely disrespectful. I'm not sure how this business is still open with an owner who knows absolutely nothing about compassion, being understanding, or being the smallest bit polite (being polite goes a long way in my eyes). I recommend to spend your money elsewhere, at a place where it will actually be a appreciated. This business just needs to close for good with how many people complain of rude interactions.
Was attending the United Way doughnut pick up charity, which didn't take more than ten minutes. I accidentally parked at Jans yarn barn and the owner came out and barked at us about parking in the wrong area and went back inside without a word. It was a simple mistake and there were MUCH more polite ways to go about the whole ordeal. Had the owners store been busy, I would have understood more, but the business wasn't exactly booming. I expected more professionalism, especially coming from the owner. I will NEVER give this incredibly rude woman my business and I recommend no one else does either. There are much better places to spend your money, especially since this business was quite obviously uncharitable.
Lots of nice yarn at good prices. I'm disabled and there are boxes everywhere and make it difficult for me to walk around. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
Accidently parked in their lot while trying to support a united way charity in the building next door. The worker was extremely rude, walked out the door and barked at us for making a simple mistake, I will never spend a dime there.
