Excellent shop and fantastic knowledgeable and experienced staff whom are always happy to help you find the right violin for you. A fantastic range of violin across different tones and price points. The staff make you feel greatly welcomed with a inviting practise room and ample time to make your decision. So you are not pressured or under time limits to make your decision because they have the best interests of the customer in mind. My previous 2 violins were purchased from Newton's, and they have served the test of time over the last 20 years and beyond!

Was a good shop until it closed down. No clue what happened to it but sad as it was where I got all the repairs and other music items from
There are not too many gems like this shop left. They have always had good stock to choose from as my daughter has progressed through the violin sizes. They also have a string of contacts for teachers. With a workshop on site, you know that instruments have been lovingly prepared. Staff are always friendly and can point you to all the accessories required with ease.
A really great repair service, much more affordable than some London shops I got quotes from. Prompt and friendly service, and discussed a range of options without any hard sell. Having moved to the area fairly recently, this will now be my first port of call for anything violin/guitar related!
No star would be more appropriate for deceiving people/ wasting people’s time with false information on the website. The website shows that the workshop in Redhill opens 6 days a week. When we went there, it was closed. Nobody answers the phones. Never replies to emails and don’t return phone calls.
