Went on the Newtownabbey way walk with my two children. Little area with soldier monument and poppy field, with recreated trench. Lots of info boards about it. Carved bench and trees along the walk, further in past a river and mini waterfalls. Wellies and forests! Great

Absolutely dreadful service and customer service when you complain. Our bin has been missed on several occasions and all you get is excuses or told its your own fault. Staff could probably do with a customer service course. If i could give them less than 1 star I would.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment and condescending staff. My son forgot to put the bin out and as I have mobility issues I cant do it myself. The condescending staff member was unhelpful, didnt care that now Im going to be sat with a months worth rubbish that I cant take to dump cuz they've closed them. Causing a health and safety issue cuz it will attract rats and mice.

Asked the bin men to take a few extra bags of rubbish and for the second time, they refused.

This is a very special place that I take my sons to. My younger son loves feeding the ducks and swans. There is a bag of special food at the desk to buy for the ducks and swans. You get a lot from the 50p bag. We have lived here for almost twelve years and only heard of it recently. It's a must see for any family interested in taking their children out and showing them some history.
