My lawn is much admired by friends who visit. An Indian botanist exclaimed:\ ...... and there's not a weed to be seen!\ The workmen (always men!) come on the pre-arranged day unless the weather is inclement. They work quickly and efficiently, leave the invoice and go. The bill can be paid online, or a cheque can be sent by post.
We have been using Greensleeves for quite a few years. They always turn up on the day they have preadvised. The periodic treatments really do make a difference to our lawn. A trusted and competent contractor who is to be recommended.
We had used this firm satisfactorily for a number of years. Last year they recommended scarifying for our lawns but this was late in the year (December) and we said we preferred to wait until Spring. Frankly they then pressurised us into having it done at the beginning of December. After the scarifying the lawns looked really terrible but we were told this would sort itself out. It is now the 1st of May and whilst some parts of the lawn, mainly the bits not scarified , are greening up well, large areas of the lawn still look terrible with what looks like impacted thatch and no sign of new growth. The lawn should have been fed on the normal schedule in January but the operative who called said it wasn't the right time. In April we complained and were told that the operative had said we had sent him away. This was untrue. Although the lawn has now been fed it still looks terrible. 300 was completely wasted on this scarification which Greensleeves forced us to have. Their attitude to this mistake has been unhelpful and dismissive. We cannot recommend this firm.
The service we have received has always been very satisfactory. Greensleeves come on the exact day arranged carry out the task in a pleasant manner.
