I turned up today for my appointment 10 minutes early and I was told that I could not wait in the store. I wanted to look at the glasses on offer but was told that I couldn't do this until after the eye test. I have a major problem with my balance and explained this to no end. I have been with Specsavers for many years but will never be back. I understand that there are safety reasons but a little more compassion goes a long way.

I have always used Specsavers in Bloomfield shopping centre but as we had to wait till the end of Feb for an appointment we thought we'd give Newtownards branch a go. We'll be using it from now on . Theres less of a fuss and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great experience for us both .

I was in the newtownards shop last wed , it was very strict as regards Covid etc. I like to be left alone to pick my glasses but this guy David came over to help me. Well, I must say, he was totally fantastic, he was honest, helpful , had great advice to help me pick my new glasses. Then he offered to tighten up my old glasses. Things I hadn’t thought off, he was just a great help. So thank u David , so much.

I purchased a pair of glasses from specsavers. 16/09/2019 i paid to have the glasses coated with anti glare coating. I returned the glasses to Newtownards branch a d complained that the. coating was breaking down and was told it was my faultthat the glasseswere scraped .I have since had the glasses examined by two other. opticians. who both said it was the coating that was faulty. I asked to speak to the manager of the branch who said the other opticians were lying. I am shocked and disappointed at this person's attatude .If this is the way customers are treated I will never again. support your business Specsavers complete rubbish.
