Economically priced fruit trees and a tremendous selection of seeds

Looking for garden Lime, I rang Walkers Seeds in Newtownards, the very helpful guy on the phone said yes, we have two sorts. A visit to Ards proved very successful, I got my lime and a Crab Apple tree. I found a very helpful staff and a super garden centre with things there that you cannot get in other garden centres. The were no smelly soaps or coffee shops and restaurants. A \Garden Centre\ that I will be back to again and again, a brilliant place. If you are a gardener, visit Walkers, Frances Street, Newtownards for all your garden requirements.

Great shop for the garden and decorating... Though I think there's an apostrophe missing, it's NOT for hillwalkers!

Aladdin's cave of paints, primers, brushes and rollers and a wonderful selection of plants, seeds and garden utensils. Everything is very reasonably priced. I needed to varnish a small piece of wood 2 inches wide X 3 feet long so was looking for the smallest tin of varnish that money can buy. Prior to Walkers, I visited a well known, large local hardware and building supplies store but was dismayed at the 9.99 price tag on a tiny tin of Ronseal. Feeling down and quite perplexed, And wondering where to go to next. I dropped into Walkers and was pleasantly surprised at the 4.99 price for the identical tin of Ronseal. Bought a bag of grass seed for two quid and a paint brush for 30 bob whilst there. Lovely little hidden outdoor garden centre at rear. Would definitely recommend. Haven't mentioned name of well known builder supplies as Ray Graham's may be offended.

It is a little Aladins cave of stuff. My friend recommended my going there for stained varnish, they really so very helpful and before I came out of the shop I had 4 bags of bulbs.
