Walk, run, bike, or even ride your horse, this place is amazing for outdoor exercise, providing a well maintained path from Newville to Shippensburg - and hopefully to Carlisle someday. Parking lot fills up fast on nice weekends so plan to arrive early. Bike helmets are strongly recommended and for your safety heed all warnings at road crossings.

Just moved to Newville end of February and live in town near the square. I love that I can walk from my place, through town and get here and catch the trailhead. I absolutely love the trail.
