I've been to two other D&B's before (Atlanta and Rhode Island), and did not feel like this one measured up at all. I just went there for games since my wife and I each had vouchers from our hotel for free 40 cards. The games were heavy on carnival style, ticket winning games and light on good computer arcade games. Payouts for tickets were terrible. In Atlanta, we spent under 50 on games; much of which was spent on non-ticket producing games and had tickets enough for two t-shirts, a teddy bear, and candy. At this one, 80 mostly spent on ticket producing games got us exactly one shot glass (which, btw, was originally marked as 300 points, but was crossed out and 2,300 points was written in!). Granted, many (most?) of the other establishments along Clifton Hill look like they offer even less bang for the buck, however I would expect a franchise like D&B's to maintain its standards and offer a uniformly good experience at all its locations.

If this is what Dave & Buster's is like, I'll never go to another one. Very quiet, which wasn't a problem, but the food was horrible. I ordered sliders. Their idea of sliders was one cheeseburger cut into fours for 15. I also ordered a Shirley Temple because they were out of fruit punch. I'm not sure what drink I received, but it wasn't what I ordered. Horribly over-priced, tasteless food.
I've been to Dave and Busters before and I had't gone back until last night... and I again was actually very unimpressed... with the Mini Putt espicially. My boyfriend and I went there thinking it is somewhat new and it should be good. First of all we paid 30 bucks.. that is ridiculous just to start.. and then we proceeded to play our round on what looked to be a highschool project of a putting course. I think it was hole 10, that had a ramp and you had to putt your ball through the tiniest hole.. pretty much impossible for any kid and the ramp you had to put it up was literally falling apart.. there was a board at the bottom that would move every time the ball hit it.. again making it even more impossible. There were these Papermache half globes on I think hole 16 that would fall over if your ball hit them.. creating another problem... The holes are also so shallow and concrete, so even if you did put somewhat good, your ball would bounce out and you would have to take another stroke. I mean.. I'm not expecting it to be a PGA grade putting course.. but at least throw some felt in the bottom of the cup lol. On the plus side, the glow in the dark was great, it was vibrant enough and didn't look dirty. However the creepy maniquins they have down there I guess to be captian Jack and a mermaid... ugh gave me shivers.. I'm so disappointed in this place... Over priced and not worth my while. I will choose the Great Canadian Midway over that place any day. I will never go there again.
Out of business, was very expensive to win some cheap 5 & 10 cent junk
Good
Sup-par, and really small. The restaurant food was mediocre.
