Rude and haughty staff (when they'll be working at this 1-star establishment earning minimum wage their entire life mdr), dirty clientele, basic food. Staff don't wear masks? Can't express how blissfully haughty staff are. mdr

Very attentive personnel. One of the best beaches in town. Delicious food. Better reserve beforehand during the season (especially on weekends).
Castel Plage offers a unique atmosphere with its colonial interiors and refined boiserie. The crowd is mixed - gay, straight and families - well distributed in different areas (so no kids screaming if you want to enjoy your tan). The cuisine is also excellent, with a generous offering of tasty, gourmet plates. I’m not giving 5 star just for two reasons: 1. They close at 18.30 (forcing you to miss the best relaxing hour for sun) 2. A bottle of Evian is 9 euro, also at lunch. It means that water here is more expensive than in a michelin starred restaurant. Quite too much.

Tasty food and supertasy dessert, in this case a fondant that was perfectly made. Large portions. Very friendly and attentive personel. The beach? A bit steep and nothing for small children or if you have trouble moving. Beautiful place.
Beautiful restaurant, great food, perfect ambiente.
Not COVID safe as the deck chairs are far too close to one another, we felt extremely uncomfortable. As far as we could see management are not taking enough COVID precautions. There should be significantly less lounge chairs on the beach than they have currently (probably 20% too many at the moment). Better and safer options available on the Promenade.
Great service and food! Definetely an institution for Nice and a must do when you come here.
