The food here is outstanding. I have eaten at many Michelin-starred places in the Bay Area, but I'd say the food here beats many of the 2-star places. (And Le Séjour has zero star) We were mind-blown by how such a small cafe on the street could be so good...so we kept on coming back to make sure it wasn't just one lucky meal. We literally came here THREE times during our short 4-day stay in Nice.
We absolutely loved our experience at Le Sejour. They had the menu written on a black board and explained each dish to us. I chose the set menu (which was not on the black board, you have to ask) and it was 18 for a gazpachowhipped goat cheese starter and tortellini main. The selection of desserts was great, each cost 10. We chose the lemon tart and it was delicious. Will definitely return to Le Sejour next time we are in Nice.
Best restaurant in Nice!! LOVE everything in here, the food, the wine, the staff, the ambiance and the interior we are definitely coming back next year!!
The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is gold. Small menu which means fresh ingredients. Family run restaurant and apparently the restaurant next door is from the same family too. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had! definitely will come back
wonderful restaurant! food was great! atmosphere - feels like you invited your friends over for dinner! pea soup with chantilly cream was so smooth, foi gras exceptional ... i see many have ordered beefsteak tartar! looked delicious ! my fish was lite and veggies ( i looooveee vegetables) were unique and paired well!
Le Sejour is not just the best restaurant in Nice, it's the best restaurant in the south of France. The service and ambience are superb, the food is divine. You must book a table because it is, naturally, very popular. Even in these rather difficult times, the owner's high standards haven't changed. A visit to Nice is not complete unless you have a meal at Le Sejour.
