After reading all the negative reviews we were very happy with our experience. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and professional and considering the volume of people they are dealing with the process was very efficient taking about 3 hours in total. We arrived at 8am and doors open at 9am. I would suggest not arriving later than 8, having all the documents you need and translations ready. If you’re organized then the process should be smooth. Thanks

The worst and most unfriendly place for foreign citizens to try and get some answers and visa issues solutions Not sure locals dont get the same, This Biocracy is one you would think belong to 1800. You need to send application by mail many times. You go to perfecture many times for nothing. This service is below third world countries

The experience is not always lamentable i f you are lucky, but I suggest to be mentally prepared for the worst possibility before you have to come here: a long queue, a lack of clear guiding, disordered and inefficient way of working, impatient staff, an inconsistency of rules... a sad scene.

ZERO STARS! I have been here 5-6 different times within the past year, and still don't have what I came for. The staff is rude and unorganized, there are no signs or panels to direct you within the prefecture. The guards try to help with the chaos but tend to direct people in the wrong queues. You have to queue for over an hour just to be seen at the main reception. DO NOT GO ON A THURSDAY as most services are closed. Last time I was there, you had to first queue for a ticket to then be able to queue to see an agent. They only hand out a set number of tickets a day which are usually all gone by 10 am. I have been waiting for over 6 months for a return on my visa application, Friday I received ANOTHER APPLICANT'S refusal letter with very sensitive information!! I have tried to call them the past week with no response; all the lines are busy. The phones are only open from 2:30 to 4:15 pm. I called over 100 x on multiple phones simultaneously and still no response. UPDATE 3/09/2020: After reapplying for a DCEM, I have once again received another applicants REFUSAL LETTER documents!!!!! Unbelievable

Always busy you need at least one day to achieve your goal here , but have a nice environment before the people get tired in the line
