Our house’s HVAC system was installed with a few corners cut that were causing a severe imbalance in air flow between rooms and higher energy costs to maintain a good temperature. I’d heard good things from friends about Nick’s Refrigeration so I decided to give them a call, and our appointment/system check was scheduled the same week. Their crew was very professional during our entire appointment. They crawled around my attic and evaluated the outside unit quickly. They were very respectful of my wife tending to our new born and me working from home. They were able to diagnose the issues and we scheduled a second appointment to fix them. Nick called me himself following the appointment to discuss our options and what each option would do for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and was honest with us on his recommendations. A few weeks later, at a time convenient to us, the crew came back to fix the issues they found. They were quiet enough for the baby to sleep while they were here, which is very much appreciated. They also “treated our home like it was their’s,” and swept and tidied up before they left, even after I told them I’d take care of it. Nick’s also has good coronavirus safety protocols and his crew followed them for the duration of both appointments. As for the result, they fixed the air flow issues we were dealing with and we can tell the unit doesn’t kick on as much trying to keep the temperature. It has made our lives a lot easier during the winter with a new baby. They did great work. Plus, he’s a US Marine and volunteer firefighter. We highly recommend them!
