Amazing place, one of the top in Tasmania and maybe even in Australia! Awesome views! Can be cold and windy even in summer!

A truly beautiful place to visit and take in the view. The climb up to the lookout was reasonably steep, but not outrageous and there are plenty of benches built along the side of the path as little rest stops and each has an indicator of distance to the top. My 3 and 4 year olds were able to walk the entire distance by themselves, we also noticed a few retirees that were able to make the hike. Well worth the drive.

What a great afternoon. A well laid out Park with ample parking, shade and picnic tables. Easy access to Cruickshanks Lookout provides spectacular views over the canyon and the Leven River. For those not fazed by a moderate walk out can descend 697 steps through the forest followed by a short walk to the Edge Lookout providing a different view of the Canyon. To complete the experience follow the signs for a short drive and walk into the Canyon floor at Canyon View.

Such an incredible view.. I loved it !! There are two walks there and staircase in between them.. if you wanna climb down the steps do the Cruikshanks lookout first.. a must visit in north central tazzy

This great lookout will make you feel so small. Offers breathtaking view of river and mountains. Recommended visit during sunny day, otherwise it may be covered by clouds. It is easy to reach from picnic area, but beware if you go down to Edge lookout first. There are about 650 steps and the hill is really steep.
