Great place for high tea. It's very different to anything Darwin offers so it's a nice retreat. A different urban feel but still keeping some classic charm.

What a disappointment- my friend booked a table for the Grand High Tea , we arrive at 12 noon to be told they are out of scones. Then the food arrives, sweet and savory together and not much of it. It was nothing special. We weren't given plates to put our food on, my friend had to ask for plates. The service was slow and unprofessional. Then at the end I asked to use the toilet and was told they didn't have one and to go down to the shops and use a public toilet there. Well I did and had to ask the hairdresser if I could have a key and use theirs as no toilets were open. All of this for 90-00 what a shambles and how very disappointing I won't be back .
Unique and one of a kind. A place to "take a load off" and relax-
Delightful setting, excellent food and drinks, convivial hostess. An Oasis in the middle of a desert.
Eclectic furniture in an unexpected location but lovely scones with generous serving of jam and cream. Largest range of teas we have seen in Australia.
The Chantilly Tea room is my favourite place in Darwin. You have to try the scones!
Disappointed with slow service and nonavailability of menu items and tables were not cleared. Love the decore.
Very poor service and cake serving size was so small for 7 was a complete dissappointment we wont be going back to waste our money. It was the second visit both tiimes out of scones.
