My husband and I had never worked with an architect and we were apprehensive. We finally decided to build our dream home and Rod with Nighthawk Design was highly recommended to us. We knew what we wanted but just couldn't put it on paper. We had gone out and bought at least 20 of those architectural home design books and spent months combing through all the designs, but we were disappointed, not seeing what we wanted. We thought it would be so easy. My husband worked with Rod and from the moment they sat down, we knew we had chosen the perfect architect for our home. He immediately started sending us plans to look over, and met with my husband almost daily to tweak them, zeroing in on what was important to us, and reminding us of other features we hadn't even thought of. Rod reminded us that we needed "sex appeal" and created a design that has been called worthy of The Parade of Homes and named it "The Soaring Eagle." We moved in our beautiful dream home in May, and we are still amazed every time we open our front door. I have a spacious walk in pantry, an enormous 130 s.f. master closet and a huge walk-in double shower. In all the model homes we walked through, even the million dollar homes didn't have a closet as big as mine. My kitchen is open to the great room, with a huge island where we can fit 8 chairs. Our builder Lori from Direct Build and Nighthawk Design have truly created a masterpiece.
