I asked a friend if there was a cafetaria in Nijmegen that had a vegan menu. She pointed me to Tweety Snack. While tiny and lacking a restroom (they were still working on it to get one), it made up for that by having a very big menu to choose from. Different kinds of fries, sauces and snacks. Many vegan or vegetarian and biological. And they were very tasty! The owners were very friendly and chatty. We ended up chatting with them about food, animals, energy and environment during our meals and for almost half an hour afterwards. Other guests were even impressed about the conversation because it was a good and intellectual conversation. Of course, it was pretty quiet around that time so he made time for us. They also added extra sauces to our meal to try from, because they were really passionate about the environment and animal welfare. We will be coming back here in the future, 100% sure! You should as well!

Leuke kleine snackbar met groot terras. Het personeel is vriendelijk en beleefd. Binnen is het klein, maar ziet er schoon en verzorgd uit. Porties zijn van normale grote en er zaten geen hergebakken stukjes tussen de frietjes. Veel zaken zouden hier een voorbeeld aan kunnen nemen. Inmiddels een tweede bezoek gebracht en het kwaliteitsniveau is nog immer fantastisch. Deze zaak heeft behalve gewone, ras en Vlaamse friet ook een groot assortiment vegetarische snacks.
Friet was goed. Niet te lang gebakken maar perfect. Frikandel was ok. Saus was goed.
