Very local place, a little hidden. Found it by change and was happy to have that good ramen.

Great little store with heaps of various knick-knacks and souvenirs. We had lunch upstairs as part of our tour - it was amazing!
JTB brings their tours here. The food is mediocre, pretty typical fare, if a bit overseasoned. They get big points for being very accommodating of dietary restrictions including gluten-free and vegetarian. The gift shop on the first floor has some sweets, lots of yokan, yuba, and trinkets, especially featuring the sleeping cat and monkey trio from the neighboring Toshogu shrine.
