Small but convenient michi no eki. Theres a 7 eleven and wifi, clean toilets, a love song museum and a food hall that sells local produce and good bento boxes. Theres a microwave inside so you can heat up what you buy. Theres a sweet old man called Ueda who hangs around the 7/11, his English is limited but he took us for a small walk around the area and helped us learn some Japanese. I think hes just lonely and looking for friends, hes not homeless or harmless so if you feel it up to it give him a smile and wave!

This is a nice location to look at local produces and specialties from Nikko/Tochigi area, and a good gift shop as well. Just be aware that they do sell things that are not produced in the local area, so it is best to ask before. Parking lot can be quite packed on the weekends.
Who knew this place has one of the best Udons!!? Love their Udon at the restaurant(actually a soba restaurant ?) Their Udon uses whole grain wheat flour that makes the place unique and the flavor is really nice.
Because of japanese friend.
Good place to rest during your journey. Clean public toilets for free available. Seven Eleven supermarket as well. Enough parking places.
