Nippers 2 Flippers should be listed under "Australia's worst swimming spots" who is managed by Anita whose photo IS listed as number 1 on the "Bad Managers Index". Seriously. Anita who runs the centre is terrible at customer service and bad customer service comes with dangerous side effects Anita especially given in a small community like Figtree and also across the Wollongong region. Hopefully this feedback will ensure the next customer who has questions, that you respond with a welcome… one can only hope. Sadly Anita's attitude is too much, me, me, me and money focused and not about children's safety in learning to swim. Also a side note, the pool is too tiny in conducting the number of lessons they do at any given one time. Your child will not receive an adequate swimming lesson, will take two strokes of a swim and already be in the centre of the pool whilst the instructor moves onto the next child. If you are after a swim school that mass produces factory farming for children learning to swim with no heart at the centre of its ethos... then this centre is for you!

Fantastic swim school that puts huge emphasis on water survival skills. All the instructors we had we very good with kids, friendly but firm. A little outdoor cafe attached to the pool sells good coffee a makes it a great experience for parents too!

When you have any concerns re your kid's swimming, look no further, these ladies know their job. We decided to go for 2 lessons a week to get greater efficiency and in a month our 6 yo swims the pool back and forth.

My daughter enjoys swimming lessons again now we have changed swim schools. She had gotten quite fearful at the old school but a decent break from lessons and a change of schools seems to have fixed that.
