島の北東部にある伊関地区の小学校。明治時代に米国の商船カシミア号が難破するという事件があり、乗組員の救助を行った際に米国から送られたお金で校舎を建てました。しかし朽化にともない平成になって校舎の建て替えが行われ、当時の校舎は残っていません。
