Changed my life! Before finally finding Dr. Charles Vantanajal at In Balance, I struggled with finding relief through other offices and avenues. In Balance helped me manage symptoms while waiting for surgery. Their expertise and treatment played an integral part to not just the relief of symptoms, but also provided the necessary information for my surgeons to correctly pinpoint the root cause and correct it. After surgery, I wouldn’t trust anyone more than Dr. Charles to provide advise, guidance and post operative plans to get you up and moving. My recovery period was cut nearly in half with his direction and help. Their modern approach to chiropractic and health services is a refreshing and innovative way to increase their standard of care and your way of life. Stephanie’s unique approach to yoga makes it possible for individuals of any level of fitness, size or experience to benefit from practicing with her. She not only teaches you how to do the poses that are best for your body but also how to incorporate yoga into your daily life and the decisions you make that impact your wellness. I can’t say enough about her style of teaching and the way she modifies every pose to best suit how you are feeling that day and your ‘yoga’ goals, all while pushing you to go a litter further and try something new. My yoga classes with Stephanie have been life altering and continually make me want to work harder and achieve more in my quest to be healthy and well for the rest of my life.

Twenty years ago, a cross-country skiing fall put my back in a permanent state of pain. I went through regular chiropractic treatments and massage therapy for years until my massage therapist recommended doing yoga. I started practising yoga and back pain subsided. Yoga practises helps me with body awareness, in maintaining better posture, increases my flexibility, and helps me relax when practising deep breathing . I have been practising yoga for 15 years now and for the last 5 years Stephanie has been my main instructor. Her style is what I would call her unique kind of \power yoga'\. She pushes one's body straights to its limits, and at the same time as being aware of each person's individual needs. Contrary to many classes I have taken, I like that she focuses on very few poses during one class; poses that she builds up to, through a selection of specific exercises. And the fact that she can offer classes close to home, right after work is definitely an advantage for me. Thank you Stephanie!

Dr. Charles Vantanajal is the real deal. He knows his stuff, and his knowledge base is evident through his impressive use of modern treatment methods. Having tried many different providers, I can conclude without a doubt that this is simply THE BEST chiropractic treatment I have ever come across. Some of the reasons for my positive experience are as follows: * I left feeling like I got the value of 5 treatments in one. I did not feel rushed. * Dr. V. is professional, compassionate, engaging, and I felt like he really went the extra mile. * He used ActivRelease therapy as part of my treatment (assisted movement/stretching). Not every practitioner out there offers this. * He surprised me with his use of new techniques which I have never seen or heard of before. * He did not put on the typical sales pitch I’ve heard elsewhere. He actually encouraged me to only seek treatment when needed. * He gave me a free session on the Hydromassage table - something I will definitely be doing again since it was very beneficial for me. * He tailored everything just for me, instead of a standardized approach which is all too common elsewhere. * Finally, he also gave me the manual adjustments (cracking) that I was looking for, but it was so much more effective the way he did it after performing all the other treatments first.

I've been taking Stephanie's Yoga 101 class for about a year and a half now. Its the first thing I have stuck too in a long time. I'm sure glad I have, I feel wonderful!! I've also been able to be comfortable enough to attend a few other yoga classes, took up cycling again and recently started swimming again. Stephanie got me moving again!! corrie
