I’m so happy with this place! I am not a camper, but looking into getting into hiking! I needed some help finding a backpack and a few other things. This lovely girl, Natalie, helped me out and was so knowledgeable about the different backpacks and helped me pick the perfect one! She also had suggestions of what else I should consider buying to be prepared and it was things I wouldn’t even think I needed but I am so glad she did! Will definitely be recommending this place and have nothing but nice things to say about the employee that helped me out!

Today is July 17, 2020 between 430-5pm I was trying to purchase a hiking stick that was not available in store and it says on the shelf that I can order in store. So I approached the cashier, she seems not helpful to begin with.. she was trying to sell me the one that she have on hand but I preferred something else. So I asked if they can look it up online If it was available. She didn’t even offer to look it up for me. It was the guy beside her who looked it up. It was available on line but I got disappointed already because she continued with all her excuses and reasoning about shipping and prices plus I got that strong feeling that she is in no way going to help me. So I told her to not to bother and left the store. So poor customer service with this lady.

I was over charged 65 for a jacket. I went back to explained the concern to an associate and I asked them to double check other prices were correct as their receipt is confusing to me. At no point was I difficult or a pain. A young Asian guy was helping me when all a sudden someone name Siobhan stepped in to tell me that they are busy and it’s not a big deal if I was overcharged. As if it was her money that was used to pay for the bill. Poor customer service and horrible like I should not have come back if I was overcharged. Will not go there again and will not recommend anyone to go there. If you do please check the receipt before you leave as the don’t know their job properly. I think it’s just a way to rib people off and when you catch them they don’t like it.

Good store, lots of items to choose. I am glad they put up a branch here. This is the shop me and my wife buying for outdoor gear when we are living in England.

Due to the new corporate policy, even the manager wouldn't sell me a product that was on sale unless I signed up for there membership. The membership involved giving my email address that would involve being spammed. But the manager said I would only get my receipt, nothing else. Thats a lie, check out there website, they will spam you with special promos & upcoming sale, and probably give this information to the Federal Government... lol. I offered to buy the item without the membership & was turned down. I left empty handed and went else were & purchased the item, without a membership. Take the time to send Mountain Warehouse Corporate office a letter showing your concerns. What If it was your mother with no email address, would she be turned away and have to go else where to get the same deal due to their ignorance? or pay full price. Unbeilable that a company of this magnitude would act like this in today society of social networking. Good luck all, go shop somewhere else where they appreciate you, the consumer.

If I could give a negative rating I would. I was a former employee of this store and I had major issues with it. The main issue with this store is the current manager Tanner Chambers. The reasoning behind the statement is because I always felt targeted by him. Any minor mistake that you made and he would chew you out for 15 minutes about it. Another big thing is that he will make a promise, and then not live up to it. This happened to me a few weeks ago. I gave my two week resignation stating I was leaving the company for a better job. Unfortunately things fell through with that one and I talked to Mr.Chambers about coming back to the team. He recently spoke to me saying that if anything were to happen with the new job I was to talk to him and he would look into getting me back onto the team. So when I confronted him about what he said,hoping he was going to live up to his word, he turned the other cheek and said it wasnt his problem and he couldn't fix it. So not only did he not keep his promise, he lied to his own coworkers. I personally believe that Mr.Chambers is not fit to be a manager at any store and I hope that this review is seen by upper management. I'd love to chat with them about the situation if at all possible. As for anyone looking for work here, look elsewhere because you will be better off guaranteed.
