Lots of history to see and read about. First building is free. Others cost money, but are well worth it (only 5 for a family, 2 for an adult, and under 10 years old is free). Buildings are between 100-150 years old and are furnished as they would have appeared. Be sure to read the descriptions of each house (German, Norwegian, and Swedish). There's also a one room schoolhouse that is amazing.

This is a really neat local place that has original homesteads from the folks who settled in Nisswa and artifacts from all throughout the region’s settled history. We visited for the Nisswa Stämman and were pleasantly surprised that the location was almost as interesting as the event. I’d definitely recommend taking the time to visit the exhibits if you’re in the area, you’re never likely to see something like them again.

This place is full of history about the town of Nisswa and about the surrounding area. There is many different buildings to walk around in. I can’t wait to go back and learn more.
