A full duplex Communication system inaugurated by Dr. Radhakrishnan, chairman ISRO on 30th March 2010. Centre has VHF (Very High Frequency) and UHF (Ultra High Frequency) outdoor antenna setup and the software’s used to track and receive data from amateur satellites. Ground station NASTRAC is equipped with transceiver radio and Antenna Rotor Controller which operates in Main & Sub band simultaneously. This configuration helps to receive the signals In full duplex that’s is in VHF &UHF band and is capable of auto tracking of the amateur satellites. Centre has successfully tracked STUDSAT and other amateur satellites
