Too expensive, paid over 8 bucks for just one sliced brisket BBQ sandwich and half of it was fat. Also Paid 18 for two slices of brisket a lot of fat included and two ribs with barely any meat on the bone. And the potato salad was horrible. Smiley BBQ is way better. Next time I'll take that eight minute drive and get good BBQ at good price. Two times I visited and both times was a disappointment.

Great Atmosphere. Ordered the two meat plate. Brisket and Ribs. Brisket was awesome and moist. Ribs I usually don't get them but glad I did. Sides were potato salad and beans. Which were both great. If I were ever in this area again would definitely stop in again and strongly recommend
While doing some contracting work in Nixon, I was invited to eat lunch at Pioneer BBQ, and needless to say, it was amazing! We all had different plates and they all looked delish! I had the chopped brisket sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. We also had the peach cobbler a-la-mode, yum, and when it was all said and done, we could hardly walk, much less work, lol!! The place is small with only a handful of tables so get there early. Also the restaurant closes as soon as they run out of BBQ so just heads up on that. So if you're in the area, go give them a visit, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Incredible brisket and ribs You must try the smoked peach cobbler Its worth a drive. Parking limited but go check them out
Great food; brisket, chicken, sausage...tomato & cucumber salad? Yeah, it was all really good. Glad we wanted to try something new and you should too.
