I hosted a men’s retreat at Hacienda Corona in November, 2020. The accommodations were super comfortable. All the men raved about the space, the food, and the love and care provided by Nisa and Jeffery. This is definitely going to be my base of operations for all retreats going forward.

This place is simply magical. It imbues the feeling of hospitality, and it is truly a bed and breakfast as the owners will host & cook amazing food every day when you are there. The hosts really makes this place special. They are incredible cooks. Jeff has worked in fine dining, and he knows his liquor, being a certified tequila specialist as well as 20 years in wine. Neesun has a knack for creating delicious, flavorful dishes, and we were all stuffed every day. Apparently this is one of the first places the missionaries came to, and there’s a very palpable special energy throughout the quarters. The place itself feels historic yet comfortable, from the tasteful art pieces thoughtfully placed across the property down to the comfortable beds in every room. Many of us here have slept better here than we have in recent memory. The views are special, and the pool and pool side grill are majestic. It’s a truly special location, and we felt honored to have stayed there.

What an extraordinary place. I just spent three days there with a group of friends and we had an amazing time. Miss and Jeff are wonderful hosts, the setting is amazing and the house is dteeped in history. The food was outstanding.

I did not stay here but my fiancé and I were looking for a venue and I need to share how OUTSTANDING the owner Nisa Talavera is!!! It was so hard walking away from this venue because she was so supportive and had the best advice! Any bride/groom in her hands has nothing to worry about at all! Might I add we toured the property and the rooms and were spacious and homey with great history. I can promise you whether you are looking for a stay or venue for your wedding, as soon as you speak to Nisa you too will know exactly what a mean by outstanding.

This is a lovely quiet B&B in a historic AZ hacienda ranch. It’s run by a really nice second gen family with fabulous customer service. The rooms are decorated differently from family travels and there are pictures of John Wayne, who stayed there while filming Rio Rico. Breakfast is lovely. There are casitas and a bunkhouse, plus a pool. I stayed in the bunkhouse previously with friends as part of a Tubac art studio buying spree and tour of southern AZ. This time I am in La Patrona, a very large room with a fireplace and glass wall view of sunset. Great spot for a romantic weekend getaway. They do weddings and other events as well.

This was a lovely place to spend a long month working nearby. Nisa and Jeff did everything to make sure that the group was happy, including offering fresh free-range eggs from their chicken coop. All of the rooms have great themes are are super comfortable as well. The environment is beautiful and the view from the sunset porch is phenomenal - I spent many nights sitting on the wall with Pearl, one of their sweet dogs. Hopefully we will be able to return soon!

This was a wonderful experience! Despite COVID-19, Nisa and Jeff provided us with the most wonderful experience! Serene, soothing, special— these words come to mind. Our room was everything you would want. It had a king bed. A must for us! The breakfasts were over the top. ( one day sweet and one day savory). Yum! The happy hour was intimate with Nisa’s wonderful appetizers and Jeff’s music treat. We loved their rescue dogs! We had the pool all to ourselves!! There are so many types of birds that you almost feel like being in a bird sanctuary. It is off the beaten path. You always feel safe and secure. This is a second generation family keeping the family dream alive. The old house has a wonderful storied history!! You will not be disappointed in your experience!

Stayed here for a couple of days while on a work trip (to Nogales) recently -- and what a find! It's a little outside town but a lovely place: Beautiful, large, old-style rooms in a gorgeous ranch-type setting. And it won't break the bank. The owners are super nice (and they make an unexpectedly delicious breakfast). The story behind the place is fascinating as well -- actor John Wayne spent a lot of time here, back in the day. Well worth a visit and sure beats any old shoebox-style motel along the highway. Experience is everything.
