This is a classic example of what I would call a two-in-one, where a restaurant meets a grocery/convenience store. Well this might be somewhat of a novelty in the NCR region but it is something very common in rural parts of God's Own Country. As you might have guessed by now, this two-in-one specialises in Malayali cuisine and sells daily use items sourced from Kerala - including Nirapara pickles, Double Horse rice and Everest Masalas. The sit down area comprises three red-top tables seating four each. This place also has a very busy tiffin service to students and nurses from the adjoining Jaypee Hospital and this appears to be core group of customers of this restaurant. On my last trip I tried the chicken biryani which was steamingly flavourful and the egg roast - which took me back to my childhood annual holidays in Keralafonia!

Worst idli tasted in my life. Staff behaviour is very rude. Better visit some other good place for South Indian taste.

As a few pointed out earlier, there is no doubt that the quality of food is bad. But people come here because of easy accessibility. When I ordered kerala porotta, I got one with one side not cooked. And I thought it's uttappam :-). Mostly no curries for vegetarians only sambhar is available. Non veg you hv options.
