The Bare Bones Movement studio is well-equipped, uncluttered and peaceful. Keir has been my Pilates instructor for nearly two years. Keir's instructions are precise and clear. His technical knowledge of Pilates and his understanding of Pilates as a sustainable method of exercise have helped me convert muscular weaknesses into strengths. Keir's guidance has given me a better insight into the dynamics of movement, strength and flexibility as they relate to my own body. I have been able to apply this awareness in daily activity and in more strenuous sporting pursuits like cycling, paddle boarding and swimming. Highly recommend Pilates classes at Bare Bones Movement.

I attended three sessions at Bare Bones across the week I was in Noosa and highly recommend! The studio is beautifully appointed with a zen like ambience and the latest Pilates machines and equipment. Keir was hands down the best instructor I have had in over 20 years of Pilates classes. He is highly technical focusing on correct posture and core strength. The movements are slow but intense. I can finally feel my abs again!! Thank-you Keir and Vanessa. I will definitely be back.

I have been attending classes at Bare Bones Movement for over 18 months, doing 2 classes a week, one focused on strength, the other on flexibility. The classes are not gym sessions producing heightened pulse and cardiovascular activity. They are very deliberately focused on specific muscle groups which are worked due to the precise nature of the body movement encouraged by Keir, our instructor, using the latest state of the art reformer equipment. Prior to starting at Bare Bones Movement I considered myself to be a reasonably fit and active person with an acceptable level of core strength and flexibility. It only took a few classes to realise that where I once thought I had strength, that perhaps I don’t. The same applies for flexibility. Keir’s precise movement routines have highlighted I don’t have as much flexibility as I thought. Keir has thoughtfully, and carefully worked on my weaknesses, and has provided exercises I can do at home. The studio has a Zen like atmosphere which is conducive to embracing Pilates. The studio also has good spatial separation of the reformer equipment which in these Covid times gives me comfort and confidence about Covid safety. I would highly recommend Keir and his classes to anyone who wants to explore Pilates.

My boyfriend, sister and parents just did our first class with Keir. We are all varying fitness levels and our ages range from 28-70 and even still, we all loved the class and found it so challenging in the best way possible. We have all booked in for 2 more classes in the next 3 days! Keir was so patient, great at explaining all the exercises and improving our technique and we had so much fun. Thank you

Love the class. Keir is an awesome teacher. I became interested in Pilates after a few injuries and feel like the class has helped address a lifetime of bad (postural) habits (which was the cause of my injuries). The class has increased my overall strength. I recommend Pilates with reformer machines to everyone :)

Big fan! Fantastic!! This is my favorite pilates studio (in the world). Bare Bones is basically the opposite of these "gym chain" pilates studios. It's personable, you get a lot of attention and the quality of exercise is really high. I came in with ankle and knee pains and because of regular reformer pilates at Bare Bones (and tips and tricks from Keir on how to move properly) my pain is gone! It's great, and as you can see I def recommend ;)

I love classes at Bare Bones with Keir!! Not only do I go away from the class feeling that I have worked very single muscle in my body (the pilates OMG burn), but also armed with the knowledge and awareness of how to better move and work my body more efficiently. Keir, thank you for the continuous education. Happily drive from the Gold Coast to Noosa to join a class!!

My experienced withBare Bones Pilates was second to none . Precision ,care and a relaxed and professional teacher and environment . I went every day while on holiday, and could only wish that the business may expand to Sydney so I would be able to continue practicing with this type of instruction and care. I especially appreciate the attention on technique and the care taken by my instructor for each student .
