After walking down Hastings street for one hour trying to find a great steak restaurant, cafe Le Monde was recommended by another restaurant (that was fully booked) They were quite busy with bookings, but let us in for a two hour seating which was perfect! We got served immediately and we ordered the watermelon lime and jalapeño cocktail which is a win! Not too spicy just perfect. The pacific oysters with kombucha and vinaigrette on the side was so so so good. Highly recommend The steak was PERFECT. Medium rare with amazing jus and the duck and soba salad was delicious. The flavours were incredible. Amazing chef and staff This place is amazing and such a beautiful ambience A win in Noosa!

We have been coming here for many years and it never dissapoints. I’m not usually a breakfast person but this place brings out the breakfast in me. I love how it’s stayed true to itself, yet has adapted from time to time and made well thought changes and fantastic menu changes. A great bet for any meal of the day.

Cafe Le Monde rates highly for ambience and vibe, the coffee was well done and the food was delicious and homely. It's a little on the expensive side, but not by much. One of my favourite haunts in Noosa, though.

My wife and I had an awful experience at Cafe Le Monde over lunch. The food was fine, however the service was terrible. We were told different things and sent to two different counters by 3x staff members about how to simply order a meal. The staff were cold and inattentive. To top off our experience, I spilled coffee everywhere and when my wife got up to ask a waitress for help, she forgot about us entirely and never came to help. Definitely will not be returning and won’t be recommending this place to any of our family and friends that visit Noosa.

Had a good steak but experienced a couple service issues. For example I was sat at the table, asked what water I wanted, then 5 minutes later someone asked what water I wanted, then ten minutes later someone asked what water I wanted and finally brought it to me that time. Also I ordered chips n dip via the scan code on the table, and what I received was nothing like what was pictured. I enjoyed my food but it seemed to me some things need worked on.

Would've been handy to have a chainsaw to cut my toast. Considering everything was served out of a bucket (I saw so don't hide it) and pre made (once again I saw and the waiter told me) I'm shocked that the chef (or apprentice) couldn't even get toast right. Served guacamole (not plain avo as the menu stated) with breakfast accompanied by tasteless mushrooms and baked beans made fresh from the "how to cook for dummy's" book. Service was decent (not that they really had to do anything as we had to order at the counter, get up to go to a water station) but I'd honestly be embarrassed to be sending food out of that kitchen if I were head chef. Coffee was a win. Best of luck.

Had breakfast here with the family. Food and atmosphere was good. My gripe is that once seated we were given the option of either ordering at the counter or utilising a barcode option that allows you to order online. The issue is that we were not informed that the online option includes a surcharge for each and every item on the menu. I was quite disappointed that this was not conveyed to me at any stage and I had to find out myself. Considering many may not notice this price difference, I would say it’s quite underhanded and full disclosure should be forthcoming to all patrons.
