We went to Sails a couple of weeks ago for my fiances 40th Birthday. The food and service was absolutely amazing. I like my red wine chilled and asked our waiter for a recommendation, he asked what we usually like and went straight to the bar and gave me a taste test of what he recommended and it was spot on. We all had an amazing night, Thank you.

Always great food and service. Need to book 3 months in advance to get the very front table but worth to wait to sit and look over beautiful Noosa beach while enjoying amazing food.
I had a small wedding at Rumba room (private dining downstairs) 23 guests at the end of March The lead up to the wedding was extremely poor communication. I couldn't call and speak to any one and it always took a week for a reply to emails. There was a change in staff that looked after functions which was not explained to me. I was charged extra for bringing a cake which I didn't know about and when I raised this with the functions coordinator after she said I should of received notice prior and it's stand practice. Two star as food was fantastic and service was great once we got there. It would be 5 star if we didn't get hidden fees and terrible communication prior. The surcharges were extremely high - so make sure you look at these as they are written small and are not discussed verbally.
The ingredients were excellent, extremely fresh and the natural flavours were definitely accentuated by the dishes. However, for the price, we were expecting more complex flavour and texture combinations, and for all the dishes, it just felt 1 element short of perfection. The location of the restaurant is great, backing up right against the waters. I also quite liked the decor. However the service seemed chaotic and rushed. We had to wait a long time to be served and whilst there were alot of staff around, they all seemed to be rushing around doing something else. Although this may be due to us being here during the peak Christmas season.
Superb - as always. Menu selection is quality, food is delicious, wait staff are fantastic and do their job very well. Very polished.
I still think Sails is the quintessential Noosa dining experience. Kids in tow or a date night - my wife and I have never had a bad meal here. Their food may not be out of this world, but the kitchen knows how to respect the top notch ingredients and get the balance right. (How many times have we had a bit of good sea protein murdered by "Asian spices" at the newest, hottest, trendiest "Asian street food" restaurant slash bar?!) The wines, service and ambience always just right rather than over the top. Thanks for a great dinner Saturday night. See you next time we're in town.
In one word... Spectacular! The food was fine dining but good and hearty food at the same time. The service was also an added bonus so friendly and warm. Will be back! Thank you
