Sun Med is a fantastic clinic. When I first entered, the look and feel left me completely relaxed. Angela and Shane are super warm and friendly, and very obviously community minded. Everything was well organized and professional while still feeling homely. I had a treatment from Shane which involved acupuncture and some moxa. He was able to get straight to the root of my issues, the treatments were gentle,, and I left feeling wonderful (with a herbal supplement to help everything continue to improve). Highly recommended!

Wow. But really. Sun Med is such a nice space, it feels welcoming and warm. This beautiful sense of calm comes over me when I arrive for my treatments. Shane's treatments have been SO supportive for me in shifting and improving my current condition. Immediately after my first treatment I saw results. I could feel the difference, and over the week that followed i knew there had been an improvement. I have been seeing him since! As a practitioner, Shane is wonderfully receptive and grounded. In our initial consult, I felt heard, and felt that my overall well-being was being tended to. I really love that Shane is able to discuss my condition with me and explain the traditional treatment he offers for it. I knew so little about Acupuncture, and now my treatments feel really relatable, because I see the outcomes of it. I feel I have a broader way of deeply understanding my body and well-being. I 100% recommend Shane at Sun Med - He honestly knows his stuff!
I have had acupuncture many times before and met Shane about 5 months ago. My first treatment was amazing. He is very gentle and knowledgeable. I had a hamstring injury that had been giving me grief and was also having some dizzy spells. Shane was helpful in recommending some herbs to combat the dampness chi in the body and also move the chi around the injury to help heal my leg faster. Thank-you so much Shane!
