When we picked up the RV, the attendant was very friendly and when over the vehicle with us. There was a crack in the windshield that should have been fixed. The engine light stayed on all the time but I check fluids and belts several times and nothing seemed to be a problem. The engine ran fine. The back bumper was also dented. The interior was in good shape. Worn a bit at 110,000 miles. We drove the RV for 2,900 miles through a lot of different weather and it did great. The only issue with the interior is that there is no real comfortable place to sit in the back other than the dinnette. The design would have been better to have an actual chair behind the passenger's seat or for the front seats to swivel. On return, the attendant wasn't quite as pleasant. The overall experience was

The reservation, pickup and drop off processes went smoothly. Our destination had two lane twisty canyon roads so the short unit was easy to drive. The tow/haul engine control system worked great on both city streets and mountain grades. Engine braking reduces brake effort stopping for lights on city streets. Coming down the Grapevine and the Cajon the system downshifted on its own and only required using the brake pedal because of traffic. Next time we will take leveling blocks to optimize the functioning of the bathroom sink and shower drains. A door mat would have helped keep the floor cleaner. Starting the refrigerator on propane at pickup with 16 pounds of ice (4 frozen 1/2 gallon plastic bottles) gave it a head start. With the freezer compartment full it did a good job of keeping the refrigerator items cold.

Perfect first time experience. The camper was great! It was clean and nice. Nicole helped us, she was super nice and helpful. I told her it was our first time and she walked me through everything. We will def be back!

Overall, The trip was great. The unit performed well. But the refrigerator did not get cold. we had to throw some food out, so please check that unit. And i was charged a 50 dump fee because I had the valves colsed upon returning the unit. well it is a ticket to ride with the dump valves open. So how can this charge be possible. but all in all, we will continue to use Cruise America for our camping purposes. Brian F.

Nightmare on just obtaining my RV. Business times didn't work with pick time. Had to miss halfday of work to pick up at there times (1030-12). Vague on how to operate RV. Thank God for youtube. Website Said all vehicles are sanitized. Not mine it smelled sour, driver's area was dusty, no passengers seat belts until I discovered nasty not cleaned area under the couch/bed old nasty items that fell thru seat. Recommended you bleach or clean before putting family in here...
