Sagastad - a new museum for and about Viking history. A 30m longboat - ready to sail - you can touch everything! Wow! Stunning. I enjoyed every second. There is a free app w/ a guide in different languages available - a headset is recommended! Impressive and highly recommended! Not only because of the exhibition, also because of the friendly and multilingual staff! Very kind and helpful! The are doing a great job in these strange times!

Really enjoyed my visit to this Viking museium, theres a lot to learn and see. I was amazed with the rebuilt wooden boat, loved the smell of the wood and great to be able to walk on the deck. Everything is clean and new and staff are helpful. The parking is plenty and free and there are lots of nice shop next door as well as food shops. Highly recommend.
Incredible achievement to reconstruct a ship of this size using mostly authentic techniques. Amazing experience to be able to touch and even smell the wood. Recommended for anyone who wants the feel what it is like to walk the deck of a king's ship.
The scale and quality of this viking ship is simply mindblowing!
Small but interesting new museum.
Nice Ship, Nice Documentary but way too expensive!
Really well done.
Little museum with some information about Vikings, their burials and ship making. It's just one big room and most of it contains the impressive ship. Only the ship is interesting for kids, the rest is boring. The ship is real size and you can enter the ship. It's also verrrrrrry expensive! We paid 680 NOK for a family of five but we spent only one hour in this little museum. Sorry but it was a letdown. If the price of entrance was half of what it is now, it would be much worth it.
