A long drive, well worth it! Will hope to visit again soon. Love to learn about ships and history of the area as well as go exploring. Various amenities covering many needs. Just need more time in area but overall great experience.

Been in line for truck inspection for over 2 hours . If I'm delivering products from another base then my record should be clear enough to deliver on your base ! This is a joke at efficiency get more people out here to do the job or find a new system. I will never deliver here again I hope other trucks feel same and wont waist their time. 2 hours and counting still not checked just to drive ten feet onto base and drop one pallet. My tax money for this no thankyou!

No public access or tours here. Search for Naval Station Norfolk Tour & Information Center, 9079 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23505. These 45 minute bus tours are great. You get a close-up drive-by view of all the ships at dock.

I went to Norfolk for vacation before and it's nice. and I have a brother that is in the NAVY at Norfolk, as I was on vacation I got to go into the NAVY ship and my brother showed us the ship inside and what he does in the ship at his job. Norfolk is not a bad place to live at for what I seen, I would of loved to live at Norfolk.
