I’ve been a patient here for years, I usually have zero problems when I come here. Usually the staff is exceptionally friendly & I love Dr. Geurkink. I came in recently to pick up my contacts & mind you it wasn’t busy at all. There were no patients anywhere. I came in and there wasn’t a, “hello” or anything welcoming. When I walked up to the front desk, they didn’t ask me how they could help me. One of the receptionist was on her phone & just looked at me. The older one assisted me. I told them I came to pick up my contacts. The lady brought it out to me and told me it there was about a 200 copay. She didn’t check my insurace or even looked into the system. I usually pay zero dollars in copay. I ALMOST paid the copay but then I asked if my insurace didn’t go through with it. She then goes on the computer for a minute and what do you know??? my insurace pays for all of it. ZERO COPAY. They almost charged me 200 worth of contacts that should’ve been 0. THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES. Please, train your employees better. I love being a patient here. And this should not be a problem.

Adam recently fitted me for some new Scleral contacts for kertaconus that I’ve had for 25 or more years. I am seeing 20/20 for the first time in 3 decades. He is one of the best Doctors, regardless of practice, that walks the planet. Phenomenal demeanor and I love their staff. The guy hasn’t aged in 30 years and is the only thing I can harp on and I’m jealous.

Love this doc and his staff. Ten year patient so I think bad reviewer mistook for another place. I've always gotten an appointment quickly, been treated with respect, and dealt with very knowledgeable and kind staff
