Place was good, but has now closed. It is now a (nice!) Japanese restaurant. Will update Google as soon as they accept my edits...

This small and cosy place was quite decent. The service was friendly and the food was tasty. We had classic Indian dishes and they were a bit light on flavour compared to what we were used to. Bread and rice were nice though. The service took about 1/2 an hour which was maybe a bit slow but the atmosphere was nice and we talked happily until arrived.
Ate here once with my girlfriend after a big weekend. Food was great. I wish these guys all the best.
the place has few staffs so the order might take a bit longer than expected but as soon as the food comes to your table you can say, "worth the wait". had a great time dinning with friends.
Hands down the best curries I've had in Sydney or anywhere else in the world, I won't list all the locations. Non descript little hole in the wall that will impress absolutely everyone. I know it's fairly new but if they maintain this standard it will be a MUST eat location.
Appalling Wait, wasted over an hour to find out they had not even started preparing our food yet. Lied to 5 odd people including myself stating their meal is the 'next' one to come out. We live locally and will never be returning. Plenty of other fantastic Indian restaurants in the near vicinity who are honest.
We met some friends from different parts of Sydney, and Normanhurst was the geographic centre - so Kathmandu Valley was pretty much a random pick. And how good was it: every dish had its own unique flavour, the portions were good, the service a little inexperienced but attentive (mind you, it was a quiet Saturday night) and the cost worked out to 25 a head - great value. Honestly, if you live in Normanhurst or Thornleigh or Wahroonga, go and eat here. You won’t regret it.
Just had a wonderful meal with great service. The best naan bread ever. A must try. Will certainly be back.
