No step free access, no toilets ( try the Castle pub opposite ), no ticket office - go to convenience store opposite for oyster , avoid qs in busy and tight station. All night tubes on the central line on fridays and saturdays , not past Leytonstone , and not to Hanger Lane and stations to West Ruislip.
Season ticket not working- needed to get to platform- no staff on duty, and call button on other side of barrier. Had to push through gate in the end like a ticket shirker. Not good enough.
Nice tube station, above ground and a good stagnant atmosphere. The delights of rush hour travelling through London only furthered by the atmospheric 'MURDER' police appeal notices creating a welcoming and humble ambience.
The staff here were extremely helpful. I felt ill when changing trains at this station last Saturday and the staff took great care of me. Nothing was too much for them, particularly the petite lady and the station master who looked after me in their office while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. A big thank you to the staff concerned. God bless.
Entry/exit is a chokepoint causing serious congestion at peak times. No disabled acces that I'm aware of.
