Being new in this city, I saw the staff with warm faces and hearts who told me about the different books for me and my kid. They also enroll my kid into different activities like reading and craft classes which is so refreshing and helping to the mind of the young, These people really go out of their way to make new comers like me feel this city a HOME.

Amazingly helpful staff! Always friendly!
Love this place,always feel comfortable.
Have been utilizing the librarys services since way back when the childrens dept was included with the adult dept, the staff are always friendly, and helpful ebook will never replace a book I can hold in my hands.
This is the best library I've ever been to! Sure the Hamilton library was huge, but compare the size of the town and population and it's obvious anything in Southern Ontario is always bigger, more modern, and far more expensive. This library is made up of excellent staff, knowledgeable to a fault, and they always are willing to assist in any way they can. For a service that gets forgotten by many in this more digital world, the North Bay Public Library is a gem! They rent, and loan things you would never even imagine, all free unless you are selfish enough to not bring something back. Thank you ladies and gentlemen who work there, you all deserve a raise. :-)
