Birch Bark

Great service. Other than disliking a few minor practices, they're a decent & responsible bank to do business with. I don't get these negative reviews. If you're courteous, respectful and professional to others, then they are to you. If you raise your voice, become impatient and get testy, good luck.

Just opened an account here and got a temporary debit card. Tried to pay for gas using my new account and got an error that the account wasn't set up. Contacted customer service and was explained that their temporary cards only work at RBC ATMs and that I'd have to wait until my permanent card arrived in the mail. The negative review is for 2 reasons: 1. The temporary cards only work at RBC ATMs, so I can't access my money when I need to. And 2. It was not explained to me that the interac card only works at RBC ATMs.

Can’t talk to anyone. Tried to call to speak to someone but you can’t talk to anyone on the phone. And the automated phone services hangs up on you and I try to book an appointment on my app and it will not do it it’s pathetic that nobody wants to talk on the damn phone anymore

Absolutely terrible customer service at this branch. It would be nice if the employees knew how to do their job and the branch manager would have put the customer first. This is only one issue that we have with this bank. The branch manager stood by and allowed an employee to embarass and be rude to myself and my husband in front of customers and employees. We have experienced terrible service since June 2020.
